Since opening in 2008, Agora Portals International School has become a school recognised nationally for its Programme of Support for Pupils with specific learning difficulties, through our specialist Psychopedagogy Department. The key to success lies in the co-ordination of everyone involved in the pupils’ learning process, establishing the course of action to follow and shared objectives.
At Agora Portals International School we use a methodology based on programmes of structured, cumulative and multisensory interventions, tailored to meet the individual needs of each pupil and making use of audio-visual and interactive resources and materials, as well as study techniques and specific learning strategies which enable pupils to learn and successfully achieve their goals.
The Psychopedagogy and Guidance Department at our school has 3 main functions:
- Interventions for pupils
- Interventions for teaching staff
- Other interventions/collaboration
